Both are apprehensive about entering into an arranged marriage, but they become friends and have a long talk in which Shaina confesses her prior connection with Devi, an eccentric guy who lived exclusively for his ‘Kick,’ or adrenaline surge. They start on a whirlwind relationship despite his eccentricities, until one day he breaks up with her for a new ‘Kick’ and goes away, never to be seen again. Himanshu, in turn, regales her with tales of his heroic exploits as an officer, but adds that he has now met his equal in the form of an astute thief. What they don’t realize, Devi, is that their tales have something in common. Under the guise of having lost his memory, he returns to their life. Behind it all, there’s a deeper mystery and a ruthless objective for which Devi is willing to die.
